How to make the perfect Easter card using a birthday card template

Hello coprinters!

We know that Easter is coming up soon enough and we thought you might wonder why we haven’t said anything about Easter cards. Well, we don’t have a Easter category yet, but we do want to show you how you can create your ideal Easter holiday card, using any of our birthday card templates.

First off, you need to change the text in the existing template, make it work for the occasion. This is a very easy step to do in our studio. You can also change the fonts if you like too, but it’s not necessary. Choose a message that sounds happy and friendly, so it can work both for your family and friends. Secondly, you might want to adjust the colors. Adding a bit more green into the design can make it more suitable for Easter. Last, but not least, generate your card and send it through email or print it wherever it suits you best. Here you can find our birthday card templates.

5 Ways to customize your wedding invitation using the same template

We keep telling you about our printables and the wonderful personalize feature that we offer,  so we thought we could also show you how you can take one of our wedding invitation card templates and customize it.

1. Change the colors

Seems pretty easy, doesn’t it? All you have to do to change the look of a design is to try different colors until you find the ones you love most. You can go for colors that make the design  look more formal, or choose playful shades that create a more casual feel.

2. Change the text

It’s kind of obvious that you should change the sample text with your own, but many times this changes the entire format of the wedding invitation card. Try to mix the texts so they look like they were meant to be there from the beginning and add text if you feel that the card looks too plain.

3. Use a pattern

We offer a wide range of patterns from which you can choose and many times one such pattern can create a vintage effect, a floral one or a very modern one . Try them out and you will find the one that suits you most.

4. Change the fonts

This is one of our favorite part. You can find in our studio a huge list of fonts in all the styles you might wish for. The process of choosing the right font for you might take a while, but it will be worth it for sure. A font can make or break an invitation, so be sure you try all the options out there before choosing the right one.

5. Emphasize what is more important

Scaling up some part of your text might emphasize it, as being more important for the person who reads the card. This feature can come in handy from a functional point of view or from the design perspective, changing up the look of the card.

Free printable gift box & chocolate lip balm recipe

Did you know that, besides customized cards, on you can make customized gift boxes, too? Well, we love these sweet little boxes. Don’t you want your guests to receive their small gifts in a box especially made for them, a box that represents you and the reason you have invited them to celebrate together?

And, further more, why not use these small boxes for special little presents for your loved ones on any occasion?

Like, for example, this homemade chocolate and peppermint lip balm.

I simply made this by melting a small piece of bee wax (about the size of a coin) with two squares of chocolate, I added a little bit of olive oil and a few drops of peppermint oil.

So simple, so useful and a great little present for a dear friend!

To make your gift box check the matching components of the engagement party invitations, bridal shower invitations, wedding invitations, baby shower invitations.

Customize the top of the gift box as you wish (play with the colors, texts and the settings of your file, check out our previous tutorials).

Download it with guidelines for extra help. Simply select Show extra guides before downloading the file. I have chosen to print without borders, on a letter sized paper, with the design distributed as shown below.

Cut out the squares that will represent your top favor boxes.

The extra guides are really soft, and you have to fold on the dotted lines and cut on the straight lines.

Then you will be able to fold and glue the top together.

Separately, cut out a 6"x6" piece of thick paper that is folded and cut like in the image (similar also to the box top) only the folds are done each 2 inches.

And here you have it!

Here you can download the printable favor box.

Simply customize, download and print at home your unique favor box. :)
